Pudsey Community Pantry

Pudsey Community Pantry offers fresh, frozen and store cupboard food for an affordable membership fee, reducing shopping bills each week. We are part of the FoodSavers network and membership also allows customers to save into a Credit Union savings account.

Our pantry is open to anyone living in Pudsey or Calverley & Farsley council wards who is struggling with the cost of living. We do have limited memberships and sometimes have a small waiting list.

Wednesday 6-8pm

Thursday 2-4pm

Friday 10am-12pm

Saturday 10am-12pm

Customers can come any day but only once a week.

£5 per shop for approximately £25 worth of food. Customers have the option to put £1 of this cost into a Credit Union savings account.

How to join:

Pop in during any of our sessions and we will give you a form to sign up. Please bring proof of address with you. As long as there is no waiting list, you will be able to shop straight away.

The pantry has really helped to reduce my food bills. It is especially helpful for expensive items like coffee, tea, cheese and tuna and it's great getting vegetables in small quantities to bulk up meals. It means I can afford to buy my kids an ice cream at the park or take them to the cinema now and again as I'm not counting every penny until the end of the month.
