About Us
Pudsey Community Project is a registered charity (charity number 1191152) based in Pudsey, between Leeds and Bradford. We began at the start of the Covid pandemic as a foodbank, delivering emergency food parcels six days a week. Since then, we’ve grown into a thriving organisation offering a wide range of projects and support for our community.
We are a volunteer driven organisation, currently with over 120 regular volunteers.

Everything we do is rooted in local need, delivered with compassion, and shaped by the belief that communities thrive when people support one another.
Mission
Our mission is to strengthen community resilience by:
- providing practical support that reduces hardship and prevents crisis

- creating safe, welcoming spaces where people can connect and belong

- offering opportunities that build confidence, skills and independence

- championing sustainability through reuse, repair and responsible resource use

- working collaboratively with volunteers, partners and local organisations
Vision
We envision a community where every person — especially those facing disadvantage — has the support, relationships and opportunities they need to flourish. We aim to build a place where dignity, affordability and environmental responsibility shape how we live and care for one another.
