Food Provision

Pudsey Community Project operates Pudsey Foodbank and Pudsey Community Pantry. We cover Pudsey, Swinnow, Tyersal, Woodhall, Farsley, Rodley and Calverley. If you are needing support with food but are outside of these areas, please call Citizens Advice Help Through Hardship on 08082082138.

Pudsey Foodbank

Our foodbank provides short term emergency support for people in crisis. We will deliver up to 4 food parcels and signpost you to other relevant help. After your parcels end, you will be invited to join our community pantry.

If you are needing emergency support with food, please complete this form and we will be in touch. You can complete the form for yourself or as a referral for someone else. The information you provide will be stored safely and only used for the purposes of this referral. Alternatively, you can call us on 07553 504540.

If you would like to support our foodbank, we are open Monday-Saturday 10am-12pm for donations. Our Facebook page is kept up to date with our current needs.

Pudsey Community Pantry

Our community pantry launched in June 2022 and is part of the Your Local Pantry franchise. It is designed to provide long term sustainable access to low-cost food for people who are struggling with the cost of living. Members pay £3.50 each time they shop and choose around £20 worth of food, saving approximately £800 a year. There is no time limit to being a member of our pantry.

You can sign up via Your Local Pantry or in person. We are located at Pudsey Community Project, Fartown, LS28 8LP.

Our current opening times are:

Wednesdays 6-8pm
Thursdays 2-4pm
Fridays 10am-12pm
Saturdays 10am-12pm

You can find more information on our Facebook page.

“Using the pantry has given me a bit of breathing room in my budget and made such a difference to my mental health. Thank you all for everything, I can’t even begin to explain what a difference it’s made.”

“You have reduced my food bill and provided an environment that is open and welcoming. Paying the £3.50 enables me to feel that I am buying rather than being given.”
